Nasal Allergy
Professor Carney has both a clinical and research interest in nasal allergy. He is a member of the Australian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy and has been a faculty member at their annual conference as well as being involved in the local group within South Australia. As part of his research, he has published many papers on nasal allergy and regularly collaborates with investigators both interstate and overseas.
As such, we are able to treat patients with complex nasal disease with a wide variety of new pharmacological agents which may not have previously been used in your case. Please feel free to ask us about alternative treatments for nasal allergy. Surgery is only ever required in a limited number of cases but by reducing the inferior turbinates, the symptoms of nasal allergy can also be significantly reduced.
